The result
The weekly Gordo de la Primitiva draw took place on Sunday, 18 October 2026. The winning combination was 11, 14, 29, 31 and 34, with key number (reintegro) 8. Europa Press reported that takings for the draw reached 3,788,533.50 euros. No ticket matched the five main numbers together with the key number, so there was no first-category winner.
Jackpot and second category
Because the first-category prize went unclaimed, its money stays in the pot for the next draw. Europa Press said that in the draw on Sunday, 25 October, a single first-category winner could receive 19,800,000 euros. Before the 18 October draw, El Confidencial had put the pot at 19.3 million euros, so the later figure is the one from the updated post-draw report. Second category also had no winners, and its prize money passes to the category directly below it, according to Europa Press.
How the prize tiers work
Each bet costs 1.50 euros and consists of five numbers from a grid of 1 to 54, plus a key number from 0 to 9. El Confidencial explained that a first-category win requires all five main numbers and the key number, and that if more than one bet matched, the first-category money would be split among them. El Mundo listed the lower tiers: an eighth category pays a fixed 3 euros for two matched numbers, while the seventh through second categories pay more as the number of matches rises. A match on the key number alone returns the stake. First category carries a guaranteed minimum of five million euros. El Mundo also noted that the draw began in 1993 as a monthly event and later became weekly, a format it has kept.
Taxes and official results
According to SELAE, as cited by El Mundo, prizes of 40,000 euros or less are not subject to withholding. For prizes above that threshold, withholding is 20% of the amount above the first 40,000 euros. El Mundo said the only valid official list is the one published by Loterias y Apuestas del Estado on its website, and it disclaimed responsibility for any errors in its coverage. El Confidencial had said the draw was expected at about 21:40 Spanish peninsular time and that the winning combination would be published on its live page once known.
