The Euromillones draw on Friday, 16 October produced the winning combination 15, 7, 35, 22 and 16, with stars 6 and 4, according to the bulletin of Loterías y Apuestas del Estado. Ticket sales for the draw totalled 47,991,642.60 euros. No ticket matched five numbers plus two stars, so there was no first-category winner. Nobody matched five numbers plus one star either, so the prize fund for that category was added to the fund of the next lower category.
A Spanish ticket matched five numbers with no stars, the third category, and was validated at administration no. 413 on Marqués de Zafra 38 in Madrid. Separately, the El Millón ticket with code GSF54318 was validated at administration no. 1 on San Jorge 39 C in Es Castell, Menorca, and won one million euros. Because the draw generated a Eurobote, a single first-category winner in the next Euromillones draw could take 59 million euros.
