The winning ticket
The category I prize in Romania's Joker draw on Sunday, 18 October 2026 has been won by a player who bought the ticket online through bilete.loto.ro. Loteria Română announced that the prize is 10,004,076.02 lei, which it equates to over 1.87 million euros. The ticket cost 987.50 lei and was filled in with reduced scheme code 12 in zone A and reduced scheme code 45 in zone B. In total the ticket held 123 Joker variants and one Noroc Plus variant.
Frequency of top prizes
Loteria Română said this is the third category I win on Joker in 2026. The previous one was on 14 June 2026, when the top prize stood at 3,565,252.21 lei. The Sunday prize is higher than that earlier figure. Reports from the four sources agree on these numbers.
Claiming the prize
Under the rules for lottery games of the loto type, the winner has 90 days from the draw date to claim the prize. The announcement did not name the winner or say where the ticket was sold beyond the online platform.
